Actually, it IS Rocket Science

The view from up here

You can’t tell, but from where this picture was taken we were close to about 80 feet above the shore.  And after walking down one of the steepest panic-inducing pathways I’ve been down in a while, in sandals, no less, and simultaneously remembering every. single. reprimand from adults throughout childhood about walking on uneven pathways in flip-flops, I’m just happy the day was as enjoyable as it turned out to be throughout (I’m not so much worried about remembering all the reprimands from adults about ending sentences with prepositions).

Um…sounds to me like you were on a date. Did you leave that part out?

  2. If you’re referring to the date I had with front-leg sunburn, then yeah. It got hot and heavy.

I can’t believe you let the sun get to your front-leg on the first date.

Now you are becoming a real California gal: flipflops becoming the only form of footwear suitable for maneuvering sand and ocean climes. Listen to yer elders, as I really did recently fracture my elbow wearing said flipflops crossing uneven flagstone within the past year or so. Ouch, that hurt, and caused major dependency on others which I do not want to repeat soon. Great photo, by the way.
